As the story is taken from the second book in the series, it is likely to begin after the events of the first film, when Laura is pregnant. The book also introduces the British twins and Massimo, meaning that fans who have fallen in love with Massimo will have to fulfil a double duty as Massimo.

According to Lipinska, the day trilogy was born of personal frustration. Taken as a whole, she sees her books as feminist warning stories. At this point, I'm sad that the heroines don't die or get kidnapped.
