I tried to start the game again today and it sat on the "Checking Downloadable Content Solution I went to the xbox dashboard and unplugged the cable on the back of the xbox that goes to the router, then I started the game.

When I was on the main screen, ready to play, I plugged the cable back in, and pressed Y to connect to the EA servers. It logged me into xbox Live and the EA servers and then I could finally play the game. I'm not sure how many people have this issue, but I hope this solution can help someone. I appreciate this topic. I just want you to know that TC. While I didn't use this method to get around the problem, it was still nice to see this is a common problem and not something to freak out over.

I just reset my system though, and it loaded up just fine for me. VividAxis Topic Creator 8 years ago 3. Thank you. I'm glad to help a little. Dovie'andi se tovya sagain! You should then be able to reconnect to the internet once you're past that message. Another possible workaround that I've seen help with this would be to uninstall and reinstall any DLC you've currently got installed for ME3. I've heard from a few people who said they were able to start up the game after reinstalling. I've been trying to play all summer, but it's been hanging up not really freezing at the title screen with a status bar that says "Checking Downloadable Content" and the little "loading" thing in the bottom corner.

No matter how long I wait it never finishes and the only thing I can do is press Y to connect to the EA servers. If I delete the title update I'm able to play offline, but I'd like to try the online portion of the game and it won't let me do that. I was hoping they would release an update that would make it work but it doesn't seem like that's going to happen. Is there anything I can do on my end to make it work? Go to xbox dashboard. Unplug your ethernet cable. Launch Mass Effect 3.

Press start, let it check DLC. PhilOnDez Topic Creator 9 years ago 3. Ok, I'll give that a try real quick, thanks.
